Sappho's Cup

This goblet, with a classic profile and design, measuring 30x19 cm, has in its composition various minerals of gemological interest, although all of them are microcrystalline varieties of quartz. The most obvious is the almost circular and wide bowl, with a shallow depth and 15 cm in diameter. Carved from a piece of pink and white agate. From top to bottom, two series (round cabochons) of blue sapphire can be seen. The stem of the goblet, in which the cabochons are set, is covered with borders and ornaments from the Malpica collection, and the two lower oval and rectangular bases have the design of the Alhambra collection.

Measurements: 30 x 19 cm. Weight of the set: 4829 grs.

- 14 cabochon sapphires of 5.93 ct. and 27 brilliants of 0.45 ct.

- Base cup with Malpica body plus 2 Alhambra bands.

- Sculpture ARS-13, Arsamandi, cup made of 18k gold

(750 m/m), weight 431 grs.

- Sculpture ARS-14, Arsamandi, made of 18k gold

(750m/m), weight 661 grs.
